my thomson elite is 26.8mm in diameter, 330mm in length. i'm using the 26.8mm shimmed into a 27.2mm frame at the moment.
the reason for wanting to trade is that i run my university's triathlon club, and we get a lot of new women every year (who are much shorter than me) that want to try the sport out who don't have a bike. i end up lending out my bike, but right now there's a limit because of the "bend" in the thomson seatpost that limits how low i can drop the saddle.
with a zero setback seatpost, i'll be able to drop it, what, an extra 7cm or so? i'm not quite sure of the exact number, but it's quite a large amount :)
