I have the 10cm LOOK carbon stem plates that came with my 596. I bought the 8cm off of Ebay a few years ago but it only came with the plates. I have few friends that have had 596s and they may have the other parts to the stem if you need everything.

C stem won't work I believe. It's the fully adjustable that has like either 2 carbon plates or already fitted for a l96/496. I'll look into a c stem but I'm pretty sure that model secures around the head tube.

Bought the Look Potence stem but it was too wide to fit aero bars. So there is 150 down the drain...... going to cut it up and see if i can make it work.

Please... The remodeled fork is getting dipped. I need the stem. I've been doing a lot of work on this. I need this badly. If anyone has it would be greatly appreciated.
in trying to Google this, I see what you mean. I have a 596, and have seen the 80 mm stem plates about a year ago in ebay. Now I don't see this available anywhere! Have you contacted a Look dealer? There has to be some replacement parts, no?
