I am building up an old road frameset for my 14 year old daughter. It will be our winter project. I am fine with "mutt" groupings or even stuff that is a bit old. prefer a 9 or 10 speed. Open to just about anything. If you have a compatible rear wheel that is great too. Let me know what you have. Looking for budget type stuff nothing too high end. Thanks.

Have a pair of Shimano WH-R550 wheels (8/9/10-spd compatible). Several years old, but swapped off my kids bike when he got a hand-me-down upgrade from one of my other bikes, so they weren't used heavily. Would be happy just to get them out of my garage, so $75 to cover shipping and a little bother to box up and make a trip to UPS store?

Just pulled a Ultegra 6700 groupo off my wife's bike. I moved her to 6800.
The 6700 has 170mm 50/34 crank, FD is 34.9mm clamp on. Brakes are not ultegra but the pinarello house brand.
