WTB: Lightweight fork for old mountain bike
Quote | Reply
Have an 8 year old Mongoose mt bike that I did a mini sprint on this past weekend. May end up doing my next race on it as well as I have no time to bike shop right now. Looking to pick up a light fork to replace the shocks on there now. Can be beat up, old, dirty, scratched - whatever - so long as its functional. Looking for something cheap as well since I'd rather not spend a lot of cash right now in anticipation of buying a bike later this summer.

Anyone have any old parts lying around that might work?

I have an older Kona Project II fork.

1 1/8" steerer, 12.2 cm steer tube length and it is threaded. PM if you want to discuss.
