P3 - Testing the waters
At the end of last year, I had my former P3 replaced by a new one. 51cm, brand new frameset. However, with the different stack and reach, and needing a long reach, short stack, I'm struggling to get back into my old position. Since then, I've done exactly one ride outside on the P3 (50mi) and a couple on the trainer, to try to adjust the position. so I'm looking at options...and possibly a trade with a bike I know would fit, like an older P3 (+ cash, or something) or an older Trek SC9.X...but has to be short stack, long reach (482 stack / 405 reach old P3, 506 / 397 new P3).

It seems it's not clear so: the frame in the picture below is the replacement frame. It's not cracked. It's brand new (well brand new on the picture, and just one ride outside and a couple more on the trainer since then.)

A shiv TT size small may work for your needs.

Not looking to trade.
Let me know if we can work something out.
Thanks.

Thanks. It still has too much stack and has even less reach than the new P3. Definitely wouldn't work for me. Short legs, long torso, ride aggressive.

BMC TM01 may work. Small or medium long.

Which configuration are you riding that is not ideal. Your pics show one setup with a white stem and another with a neg rise black stem. Do you need to get longer, lower, both?

A false humanity is used to impose its opposite, by people whose cruelty is equalled only by their arrogance

The pic is not my setup. It came out like that from the shop where they said they measured my original P3 and put everything back as is. The seat was about 1.5in too high and forward, the stem has now been changed to a -21 and 140cm with different bars and it's just not working.

so you're saying don't go to that shop? GL on the search. I'm a similar body structure and there aren't that many options out there :/

they did a good job with the built. But I sure don't like bullshit. When I got the bike, I knew the seat was way high. If it's just set up and I need to finish, fine, but let me know instead of pretending you took previous measurements...
That's what I'm saying :-)
