I purchased this frame on March 2, 2009 with receipt to prove it at Helen's Manhattan Beach in Los Angeles. I purchased this frame more from a collectors point of view, to ride until my Cervelo R3 came in. This frame is probably Cannondale's best frame ever made. It was crowned the King of the Mountains on the Tour De France.

It is Half Carbon and Half Aluminum. Cannondale uses high modulus unidirectional carbon for the front triangle. Ultra-light, race-proven aluminum for the rear. Ingeniously melded through a proprietary, continuous-fiber lay-up technology. The proportions are huge. The design is obsessively tested. And the result is the lightest, stiffest, most explosive bike Cannondale has ever made.
