Couple of questions here:
  • Year of wheels?
  • Are they hybrid or pure carbon?
  • Model/year of PowerTap? Wired/wireless?
  • Condition of the torque tube on the PT (what is the calibration/offset?)

And general pricing you are looking to get?

The Powertap is 2.4SL wireless.

It is ANT capable but not currently ANT. Need to add the $100 conversion kit or use the PT computer that comes with it.

  • Model/year of PowerTap? Wired/wireless? 2.4SL Wireless
  • Condition of the torque tube on the PT (what is the calibration/offset?) No idea what your talking about. Wheels were used ~4-5 times and have been sitting in my closet. Need money for surfboard.

I found out the hard way that the calibration/offset is a vital question to ask prior to buying a used PT. You should be able to bring up that information using the LYC.

The torque tube condition is the calibration/zero offset. It should be 512 +/- 10 (or something close to 10)
If it is outside of that range, then it needs to go back to CycleOps for a $350 repair which includes upgrade to a g3+ ANT+ and 11 speed freehub...
You'd have to look at the LYC, and see what the last calibration was to figure it out.

I am a freediver and surfer. I don't know this stuff. I am willing to just let them go at a screaming price. heck the rims alone are probably worth $1000; I paid 3500.

Are you interested in buying or not? If so private message me and lets figure something out. The darn things have never been ridden, I doubt the calibration is off...
