This wheel has a bit of cosmetic warpage on both sides. Not really bad but it's noticable.

Another issue, it has a bit of a hop. Not sure how it occured. It was very lightly used and when I loaned it to a friend that raced in the Duathlon World's it came back with a small hop.

It's still a very dependable aero front wheel and I wouldn't hesitate to use it in any event. It does however have those two issues.

I'm asking $150 plus shipping.

No I did not send the wheel back to HED so it's still on the market. I'm giving an STer until Tuesday to decide if he wants it. If I don't hear back from him it'll be available.

Does the cosmetic warping affect the ride at all? What exactly is "hop", and how does it feel at speed?

Kimio916,

No the cosmetic warping does not affect the ride at all. The "hop" is a low spot caused most likely by baggage handlers when my buddy borrowed it to fly to Duathlon World's in 2007. It's probably fixed as well as it can be fixed. It's not bad but up to speed you can notice it a bit.

I'll likely give it to my buddy if I don't sell it today.
