I hadn't heard about the wet conditions issue with CinQo's before. If it is anything that they had corrected in a later revision of the hardware I'm sure you could send it into Quarq and have them take care of it, or just wait until they do the new electronics pod updates and have them take care of both. Just an fyi for anyone who may be considering.
