Do we actually have any Giants fans here?

Anyhow, here's the new throwback threads. Try to keep your excitement to a dull roar.

Looks like something rejected by the XFL.

Nike Hates the New York Football Giants.

So they took the worst of their heritage uniforms and put it all together.

Quote:
The centennial uniform consists of a modernized version of the 1933 jersey, 1925 pants and socks and the 1938 helmet. The new look tells the storied history of one of the oldest NFL teams by highlighting key milestones: the team's founding in 1925, their first appearance in the NFL championship game in 1933, and their early championship win in 1938.

That might be the ugliest thing they have put on the field since naming Danny Dimes as their starting QB.

Suffer Well.

But they don't have the tan pants that make the Giants ensemble so... fugly.

Tan spandex has been a no no. Has no one learned the lessons from IDRD Bogota?

Nike should seriously reconsider their design department. They are failing everywhere

Team USA Track & Field, MLB "City Connect", and now this???

I wear a SF Giants hat on the regular. Does that count?

I am not a Giants fan, I bought the hat in SF as a souvenir of my trip. Frequently people think I am a Giants fan and either mock me (Dodgers fans) or want to high five me.

It's just a stupid hat people.

How does Danny Hart sit down with balls that big?

I had a roommate when I lived in Boston who was a Yankees fan. He would often leave a Yankees hat in a visible spot in his car. He would wonder why his tires kept getting slashed and mine wouldn’t.

I get they want to honor their past, but don't they also want to sell these jerseys? I thought that was the whole point of retro uniforms; something else to sell.

I am more disappointed in their lack of attention to an offensive line than these fugly uniforms.

I can live with Danny Dimes, he's average. But with the projected worse O-line in the league, not sure it matters who is taking snaps. Danny may be taking the Andrew Luck early retirement path - at least he should.

Seems like hockey-like jerseys are crossing over. NY Yankees are promoting a hockey-style thing tonight for the first 18k fans... Casual NYG fan, and not liking the look.
