Daniel Craig as James Bond.

And he is Scottish, as the book Bond is. Best Bond ever.

I have a "college" sweatshirt. Sometimes I wear it to work. It's good to be in a math dept where the dress code is merely "fully clothed."

maybe she's born with it, maybe it's chlorine

John Goodman, The Big Lebowski (but that's just my opinion)

John Goodman in Lebowski was absolutely incredible.
As was John Turturro as The Jesus. He was probably the most impactful character in any movie, ever, to only speak what, one or two lines total?

I think the Coen brothers just do a phenomenal job of casting. John Goodman could just as easily make this list for Big Dan Teague and Turturro for Barton Fink. Hell, they even got Nick Gage a mention in this thread.

Absolutely. Javier Bartom in No Country for Old Men was another iconic character in a Coen bros movie.

You can thank Ellen Chenoweth for that; the Coens often trust her as their Casting Director

If you can find it, I recommend Casting By, a documentary that explores the role of Casting Director, especially Marion Dougherty

Jerry Seinfeld - Seinfeld
Lucille Ball - I love Lucy
Roseanne Barr - Roseanne

A bit more serious:

I see Billy Bob a few times, but I think his most perfectly cast role was Lorne Malvo - Season 1 Fargo - perfectly malevolent.

Christopher Lambert - Connor MacLeod - Highlander - "There can be only one" delivery and the uni-brow certainly made him feel centuries old.

Tim Robbins/Joan Cusac - Oliver & Cheryl Lang - Arlington Road - based on their previous film persona, a perfect setup for the plot twist.

John Cazale only appeared in five films, in a short seven years career, ALL of which were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture: The Godfather (1972), The Conversation (1974), The Godfather Part II (1974), Dog Day Afternoon (1975), and The Deer Hunter (1978), with the two Godfather films and The Deer Hunter winning

Not bad work
