That finale was something. There is so much we don't see in the editing and the actual time difference between teams and how much orchestrating is going on for dramatic effect for ratings. They must have a deep biography for the individuals on the teams. Maybe even SAT type tests for assessments and they produce a season around that. Every episode had a complete advantage with being fluent in Spanish had a a huge advantage. On top of it Ricky grew up in Philly.

Yea - and Ricky and Cesar are not newbies to the reality TV game either. RIcky has been on Draggalicious (a drag show) and Cesar has been on Beat Bobby Flay.

I'd like to see the actual time differences for each thing during the final leg, and the final times. Reddit is hot with a theory that the guy giving the pilots incorrect information about the restaurant was a plant. What would have been their time if they didn't drive to New Jersey?

I hate to be a conspiracy guy... Maybe a more naive guy to how much this has become orchestrated, produced and manipulated for whatever the producers think will be best for the outcome they are hoping for.
