There is a sea shanty called the sailor's prayer with the following chorus.

Oh lord above
Send down a dove
With beak as sharp as razors
To cut the throats
Of them there blokes
That sells bad beer to sailors

You're 1 for 3 assuming you were born before 1967. We still use fax machines at work and dollar coins have been around in one form or another since the 1700s.

as a highschool teacher i can assure you that calculators are very much still a thing

Firebirds. - with that eagle on the hood!
TransAms - in black, like on knightrider tv show
Fieros - ok, not really missed.

You may be right, but in my world (construction project management) all of our young new hires out of college never use them. I pull out my HP 11C and they look at me like I'm using an abacus. They seem to all use formulas in the excel spreadsheets, or the calculator app on their phone.

Wow. I worked through this thread at the pool with friends. We reminisced about each item. We had a blast. Thank you.

Haha
If you still use a fax you probably still use a slide rule.
The gold colored dollar coin was issued around 2000. Cant find them anywhere now.

Community hospitals aren't exactly the center of the tech universe these days. Faxes, pagers, land line phones, we keep it old school.

Yep I work in a hospital also and fax machine is in every office still being used.
