I'm waiting for a killer new guitar to arrive. Tomorrow is gonna be the longest monday of my thus far short life.

That bastion of capitalism -- the stock market -- is closed today.

So much for the superiority of capitalism... ;-)

The proletariat demands their X number of days off a year. Just 'cause a holiday falls on a weekend doesn't mean we should get X minus one days off.

It makes absolutely no sense for any of those delivery services to be working if the vast majority of their customers are closed because it is a holiday for their business.

They better deliver to bike shops though - or this teeny tiny ittly bitty little blip of income will send their spokes person Tom Demmerly out to explain to them how things are supposed to be ;-P

Oh my gosh. I've been moved to the Lavender Room. What a disgrace.

I guess if you've got to loose your LR Room virginity, getting moved is as good a way as any.

A quick drive around town reveals that almost everyone is open. Any shipping company that openned their doors would have a monopoly on millions of dollars in shipping fares. (Wall Street doesn't work this way; there's no competitor.)

Is nobody hard up enough to get to work?
