Cops stormed Newsweek's offices and grabbed six thousand pounds of uncut clickbait, with a street value estimated at 22 bucks, from the weekly news magazine's computer servers. ;-)
Eh, the descent of a once-proud magazine -- which was sold for $1 several years ago -- continues apace. Apparently, the publisher or owner or whatever owes a nearly $2 million tax lien or something, so the DA in Manhattan sent agents in and seized computer servers and such. There have also been rumors of massive debts and lay-offs and a toxic work atmosphere, with pressure put on writers to produce content having high clickbait value and nothing more. I know how they feel. ;-)
"Politics is just show business for ugly people."
