Don’t smoke, so I couldn’t care less.

Other than I find it funny that most people that wanted it are complaining about it.

I’ve heard complaints of price, location of the stores and the closing of dispensaries.

Well, the pro legal crowd got into bed with the big government crowd.

Gee, who could have predicted that it would be so fucked up?

We have these lighted signs along the highway that say certain things (like how long it’ll take to get to a certain freeway off ramp or reminding us to wear seatbelts). I call them “propaganda signs”.

Anyway, all week they’ve said “Drive High Get a DUI”.

The problem is that there’s no way to tell (in a legal sense) if someone is high on weed.

Joe Rogan had a great point abou this.

Basically it goes like this...

If there’s no real way to determine if someone is high then there should be no law prohibiting driving while high.

Civilize the mind, but make savage the body.

They test positive for THC. Doesn’t mean they are high.

THC stays in your system for weeks.

Getting a DUI for having THC in your system is akin to getting a DUI because you got drunk two weeks ago.

Heard a talk from a law enforcement officer and he was lamenting the fact that a person who is stoned can easily pass a field sobriety test.

Never once did it occur to him that field sobriety tests are designed to expose impairment and if you pass younare likely not impaired.

So why would you get a DUI if there’s no impairment?

In other words, if there’s no definitive way to tell if someone is high then why make driving while high illegal in the first place?

There are litterally millions of people driving around that are on opioids, benzodiazepines, anti-depressants, adderall, which are all arguably more dissociative that weed, and nobody is testing for that....

Civilize the mind, but make savage the body.

Stupidity and random testing.

Making it legal has taken all the fun out of it. I quit.

And The State will become dependent on those taxes. Government will have a vested interest in people getting stoned....

It’s a mess.

I know several people who buy theirs online and get it delivered. Where's the fun in that!

Long Chile was a silly place.

You mean like declaring a state of emergency when the dispensaries run out? Been there, done that?

Depends on where it comes from and price.

I can't imagine it's any different in CA, but in LV, NV, zero chance the local dealers are more expensive than the dispensaries.

I had a very similar sentiment when it was legalized here (WA). I already got stuff straight from some of the best growers on earth at bulk prices and balked at the extra cost. At first it was pretty expensive but it has really come down over time. Since it has been legalized the quality has jumped through the roof. I have never had as many world class choices as I do now and I am an old school stoner.

Overall legalization has been great here and I am sold for sure.
