Just on ABC News - 48 year old man and his 49 year old wife shot and killed in their home Dec. 22 in northern VA. Shooter, a 17 year old male was dating their daughter. They found out that he was posting pro-Nazi stuff online - reported it to the school principal and insisted that the daughter stop seeing him. He got into the house and there was a confrontation at 5 a.m. in the daughter's bedroom. He shot and killed them both and then shot himself - currently in critical condition and charged with 2 counts of murder. There were 4 other family members at home at the time - the father's parents and two other children, who were not harmed.

Scott Fricker was a pledge brother of mine,and I have fond memories of the time we spent together. Admittedly, our paths diverged and I hadn't spoken to him in a long time, however this really hit me in the gut.

RIP, Scott and Buckley Fricker.
