Just a thought, maybe invest in a good multi-cooker that will do both slow & pressure cooking. Slow cooker is okay, but being able to prep complex meals quickly is definitely a plus.

Agree, we do pulled pork and pulled chicken in ours. Also have good jambalaya recipe and split pea soup, I'll ask my wife as she has a bunch.

I have a ton and google one or two a week. During the winter, we usually leave by 7 and get home from skiing tired around 5pm and the crock pot is my go to.


Poor Man's Chipotle Chicken Bowl

• Large Chicken Breasts
• 1-2 Jars Salsa
• 1-2 Black Beans
• Frozen Corn
• Serve with Mexican Rice Garnish with Cheddar Cheese Sour Cream

Poor Man's Chicken Marcella

Onion
Mushrooms
Cup Marcella Cooking Wine

I serve with mash potatoes and canned or frozen green beans (I guess you could make the potatoes earlier.


Stroganoff
Cut in to strips and brown 2Lb. sirloin steak with an onion. Throw into crock pot with can cream of mushroom soup, fresh garlic and fresh mushrooms. 30 minutes before eating add 6 oz sour cream and 4oz cream cheese. Serve over egg noodles.
