This is mean. Can I live without being identified as KKK girl please?

Back in the day, we'd buy a scorebook or we'd use the one in the program so that we could keep score while we were watching the game. We all knew what was meant by a "K".

Watching last night's all star game it was interesting to see how many seats were empty. If I ask my students in November (much less in February), very few know who won the World Series.

Kids these days.

I've been told that my IQ is close to that of Stephen Hawking. I'm pretty sure IQs test street and book smarts. @PhillyD

She appears to me to be of a generational cohort that's never been told "no" and who's always been told that her opinion is unique and brilliant. She must be confused as to why anyone would dispute the obvious brilliance of her insights in this instance. ;-)

Man, I hate being right all the time. But that comes from having an IQ close to that of the Skipper's on "Gilligan's Island." ;-)

I made the mistake of looking at her twitter feed. Aside from the fact she sounds like a completely idiotic and out of touch person. Do people really tout themselves as social justice warriors ? I was surprised to see that at the top of her page or what ever it's called. I never realized peopled outright called themselves SJW.

I guess a lot of folks do these days. It's a safe way of participating in the "struggle," (whatever that is) I guess. To me, the term just sounds like a put-on. But people like this girl take it seriously, for some reason.

Dumb broad.

I once went to a football game with my mom, among others. At one point, she asked why the scoreboard read, "Balloon 22." She then pointed out that the first "o" was missing.

Given that this seems to be one of those rare LR threads where everyone is in agreement, I don't think it's appropriate to extrapolate from her idiocy to an entire generation. The vast majority of people from her generation would likely also agree that she's being idiotic.

Used to always keep score at the game. I've started attending the local minor league games with my 9-year old daughter, and am teaching her how to keep score. It was and still is a fun thing to do.

Bama fan....Wonder if she'd still be a fan if she knew how 40% of Alabama voters voted on Interracial marriage in 2000. That would probably really get this SJW going.

I was able to tune most of that noise out. It wasn't until the comment about Chorizo Blanco's kid and another weird comment by him to the same that I paid much attention. But that would explain it.

Every generation has its offended idiots. My mom for example gets offended by the number 666. Regardless of context. Shes far from alone in that.[/quote]
I've read/heard that 666 is actually wrong and that in the earliest texts it's some other number, which makes it particularly funny that folks are getting worked up by a number that isn't even the right one (as if if it were the correct one that would make any difference).

You're black!!!?????

Just kidding. I had a mustache in the 80's, but I looked good. I also had a beard for about 15 years before they were cool.

I tried to grow my beard back last year because I do look better with a close cropped beard - but it was too dang itchy after going several years with a smooth face. And, I couldn't feel my wife's soft skin.

One time I when I had my beard I did a surprise shave before bedtime and snuggled up next to my wife. She looked at me and then said "I feel like I'm cheating on you". I said "How do you know what that feels like?"

My wife -- who's still military -- won't let me grow a beard. She says I look too much like an Arab terrorist when I do. ;-) But I tell you what; I never had a problem blending in anywhere in the Med, much of Europe or in the Middle East that I found myself. So I always have that going for me, which is nice. LOL!
