But what I mean is the guy has been gone for over two weeks and then comes back and asks this question and then deletes the post? And by deleting it, the post does not come up on a search of his posts, so when this disappears from the front page, it will still look like he's been gone.

Oddly enough a couple days ago someone posted on the main forum a post withthe title calling out David Luscan in a bad "coaching " experience and some $$ refunds not being honored. The post was deleted/hidden after a few replies and looked like it was getting primed for major drama.

I think I had the last reply before it was taken down in saying: "Paging Duffy...."

But, seeing as how their last exchange here in the LR ended, followed by Duffy's disappearance, then this post, it does cause one to wonder.

Anyone (who knows) want to hint at what happened or what is going on?

I was wondering the same thing. It was the thread about someone being lost and gone forever, correct? The one where Dan justified his position on not deleting an individual's entire history unless an extremely compelling reason could be presented, right? It's nowhere to be found. I know it's Dan's site and his rules, but I'm still at a loss to figure out when it's OK to delete an entire thread but still maintain the integrity and record of conversations, as that other thread indicated was the preference. At any rate, his playground and I try to stay pretty far from whatever the hypothetical line is, so it doesn't really matter...but keeps me curious nonetheless.

There is a saying that people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

I am not sure what percentage of Duffy's house is made of glass.

It does seem, however, that Duffy spent a lot of time standing next to some glass parts, throwing stones.


It seemed relatively harmless.
One could see Duffy throwing stones from a long way off.
(One was partially to blame if one got
too close).

That said, the number of stones was pretty large. And Duffy's aim was far from perfect.

You would think that eventually one of those stones would eventually hit a angry neighbor, or a passerby.

But I am completely ignorant.

If it's the one I think it was I am surprised that he wasn't banned for that. (not Duffy)
