I am brokering a sale for a bike shop owner I know who is selling a vintage Guerciotti 12 speed road bike. The gold platting is in pretty fair shape. The silver would need to be replated, I would think (or like coins, is it of more value if left as is?). The components (not including the tires) seem to be in fair to excellent shape. I would think with some work it can be made museum quality.
