Maybe it's just me, but the John Wayne version isn't as complex, I actually prefer the Jeff Bridges version.

Coen version was great, but nobody says "fill your hands you son of a bitch" like the Duke.

Possibly because John Wayne was a shitty actor and, for the most part, his movies were shit.

The Coen brothers' version is one of my all-time favorite movies. Only thing I would change is better CGI for the rattlesnakes.
