Does seem like grandstanding but he invited this when he didn't have a clear divestment strategy while he's in office, and giving control to his fucking kids isn't at all appropriate in my opinion.
Anyone who screamed about the Clinton Foundation while Hillary was SoS should be fucking appalled with the way Trump has handled this aspect of his Presidency, regardless of how you feel about anything else.

Speaking of which, did you read about the Trump promise to donate to charity all profits from foreign government representatives' stays at Trump properties? They came back and said, "well, that turns out to be really difficult to figure out, so never mind."
Who knew emoluments could be so complicated?

My thoughts exactly, this is nothing different than what the Clinton Foundation and Hillary as SOS. Other non-profits could sue because they can state they were hurt economically.
