Our vet said our cat was okay too but a month later it still wasn't eating.

The vet then said the only way to determine what was wrong with the cat was to open it up but at that point it was obvious the cat was dying. We tried all kinds of different foods to get the cat to eat but nothing worked.

Gee. Thanks.

Sorry but if your kids are young you can prepare them. I didn't get that option.

We lost a 15 year old cat recently. He had been losing weight gradually for over a year. Would eat plenty but didn't seem to get nutrition from it. Turned out to be a stomach tumor. Had to put it down eventually. All blood tests, etc. we're normal.

He acted hungry all the time too. Occasionally he would catch a mouse and play with it but about a month before the end he caught one, I walked in on him while he was devouring it's head.

Good cat.
