In my hammock

In the wilderness and for some reason I have one bar.

Hennessy hammocks are the best.

That is all.

How does Danny Hart sit down with balls that big?

When you say you have one bar what is in it? Rum, Vodka, Bourbon, Tequila? I mean at a certain point I imagine it gets heavy to carry all of those bottles.

Doesn't it hurt your back?

Nope. You are relatively flat when you sleep. You sleep on a diagonal. it's an amazing sleep.

The hammock just sort of wraps you up like you are back in the womb. I highly encourage anyone to test one out if you have the opportunity.

Back to the fricking grind tomorrow. Yay.

If you work for the right people, you can get them as business Hammocks. Did you get it from Mary Anne's Hammocks? It's over on 3rd. In the Hammock Complex. In the Hammock District. Rumor has it that Mary Anne will get in with you.

I feel that pain right now - camping this weekend with our scout troop. I brought my oldest son's hammock, which the youngest decided to try. Mrs. EndlessH2O and I decided to try those inflatable mattress things that you are able to fill by flinging it in the air. They suck! First we couldn't get them filled enough, and that was by hanging out of the minivan at 12am. Second, I gave up on mine after a half hour of rolling around, then my wife gave up at about 3am. They went back to that three letter camping store last night in exchange for a cheap blowup mattress from Wally World my wife.

There are the slowtwitch equivalent of hammock forums out there. While a bit more difficult, there are lots of above tree line solutions.

I AM glad I upgraded from the HH to a Warbonnet. Great quality and durability.

He said Hennessy, right? Cognac!

No wonder he slept well.

Considering his chosen method of dress I'm dumbfounded Blep drinks cognac and while camping no less

Yeah that's not really an issue you come across in Algonquin Park. Or anywhere in Ontario for that matter.

Here's my set up if you care and even if you don't.

In the east, you aren't allowed to camp above the tree line

East? Like eastern US?

There is no above tree line in the eastern US.

Sure there is. Tree line for the White Mountains is around 4.5-5000 ft.

East? Like eastern US?

There is no above tree line in the eastern US.

Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine all have peaks above the tree line.

my wife and I once did the hammock boat down the amazon from Manaus to the Ocean (was the longest week of my life - but kinda cool nonetheless)
coolest part is the 2 hammocks we have as souvenirs, although the woven south american style ones aren't as cozy to sleep in as the more modern camping ones

You'd probably enjoy hiking in the White Mountains. That aside, Mount Washington has had some of the highest wind speeds ever recorded at 231 mph, trees don't do so well in that.
