WTB: Busted eTap shifter.
If anyone has a broken eTap road shifter, I'll take it off your hands. I have a broken one that's only missing the return spring for shifting. SRAM doesn't have a part # for it, so apparently you need a whole new shifter. So just looking to salvage the spring.

Try looking for the spring on eBay. The spring in my red 10 shifter broke and I had the same problem with Sram. I found the spring on eBay shipped from Taiwan. Good luck.

You might be about to match the spring up with something on McMaster-Carr or lee springs.

Side question though, when you open up the road shifter (if you have already), are you able to see the electronics? I'm curious to know the size of the board they are using in the road shifters...

Yes, good thought on McMaster, etc, though a lot of guesswork would be involved. But at least the expense would essentially be the shipping cost.

No, I haven't opened it up Fortunately the spring is entirely external. It looks like it's just press-fit to the plastic shifting lever.
