What is an Fn Macaron?
Yes, I googled it...
http://www.foodnetwork.com/...chen/french-macarons

WTF? Who eats this shit? My blood glucose jumped 2 mmol's just reading the recipe. And make it pink too? Is that so it's easily to see the crumbs on the floor after you're done pigging out and still have a craving? Get down and lick that sugary shit up... Ich, may as well eat a pail of Tim Hortons doughnuts or crispy cremes.

Then go Google macaron vs macaroon. Both are delicious, but they are different.

I do find it a little hard to believe that people don't know the difference between a Macaron and a Macaroon.

I'm a little surprised then that no one has asked if a Macaron is the same things as Macaroni...

Blah blah I like the French ones.... Don't care about spelling or pronunciation I just went into the shop butchered pronouncing the flavors handed over my francs and later euros.

No, they are not. The macaron is a French abomination and a cheap rip off of the Italian macaroon that was brought to France in 1533.

Now, madeleines, those things are awesome!

They cost something like $5 each, you have to have a pretty big budget to pig out on them.

I find them way too sweet and much prefer macaroons, the coconut things JSA hates.
