Does it come With the power curtains option in the back?
When are you putting in the hydraulics?
Ha. I was considering beaning it up! Line the windshield with dingle berries and put some spinners in it, ese... Civilize the mind, but make savage the body.
Grab it. Those big station wagons are the next collectibles. I remember as a kid, riding in the back with a half dozen kids, no seat belts. Bench seats in the first two rows with the adults and maybe lap belts in the first seat. Amazing that we're still alive.
While I generally have disdain for nostalgia...One of my grandfathers retired from Ford. He always had Crown Vics or Continentals (among others). The lack of captain chair allowed him to get a full on backhand to the back seat without turning around when my cousins and I got out of hand and didn't listen. My parents got an F150 from him that was that robin egg blue. If it has the 351 and you don't take it, send me a PM. I don't know why I think it is cool, but it made my day for some deranged reason.
Yup, I remember riding in the way back and making faces at drivers behind me and laughing when I would get flipped off in return. Or pumping an arm up and down over my head to get the guy driving the 18-wheeler going by to blow the horn, only to have my parents yell for scaring the shit out of them while driving. Good times.
The other thing I remember is the front being one big seat and occasionally having to sit up front in the middle. One time we were on the highway and a car in front of us was towing a boat that became unhitched and careened across all four lanes. I was sitting up front in the middle with my brother to my right, and my mom slammed on the brakes and simultaneously slammed her right arm straight across both of us, pinning us to the seat in lieu of a seat belt, while somehow managing to avoid hitting anything.

Wife and I want to buy a camping trailer, but our current vehicles would have a hard time pulling anything. I'm hoping to convince her to let me get a '70's boat car once the Civic dies.
Of course, I have no idea when that will happen. For 5 years we've been saying "just one more winter". Swimming Workout of the Day:
