FN Prime Rib and an FN Pressure Cooker...
Anyone have the FN guts to try it? I'm FN queasy about tossing a $50 cut of meat barely big enough to feed two people into a pressurized experiment...

I do know FN baby back ribs are FN awesome - pc the little mothers finish on the barby - even the grissle on the cheap cuts are is tender. Beef ribs, notoriously tough - not after 35 minutes of high pressure steaming...

I thought it was a bad idea and it is:

"The preferred method of preparing a prime rib roast is dry heat roasting. When you add liquid or cover the meat, that is called moist heat cooking, and it is best used to tenderize tougher cuts of meat."

"The great pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do."

Bad idea, prime rib doesn't need the tenderizing. It would probably turn to mush.
