Good question. I didn't know so I looked and found several growth-inducing measures Trump has proposed as described by Forbes via Ryan Ellis: A little dated (9/2015) so I do not know his current position(s).

-Cut the business tax rate to 15 percent
-Eliminate the Obamacare surtax on saving and investment
-Remove the death tax
-Pass a 10% Tax on overseas earnings by US companies
-Pass a business interest cap
-End the deferral of International Income
-Pass a limited carried interest tax hike

Like it or hate it, it's at least change that he hopes works.

Fixed it.

I was just curious if anyone here thought it meant, like, the 50s or the 80s or something.

Ain't nobody wants to go back to the 80s. Unless the other option is the 70s.

D typically assume going back, or again, references the 50s. i.e. post Korea to 1967. Back when you could be openly racist. A women's place was in the kitchen. The good old days.

Yeah, pretty much ~ at least back before this crazy notion that a white guy ever had to give a shit what brown folk and womens were saying.
