Anyone else embarrassed for the person as this continues to happen? It's just flat out dumb. Kobe. Obama. Please, for your own dignity, just stop. It may have been emphatic, poignant, or somehow artistic at some point for that seldom rocker or rapper, but get a fucking grip.

I don't know about angry, but it seems like just about every media outlet this morning has a story about Obama dropping the mike as if it's the greatest thing since Kennedy declared himself a jelly donut. Get over it, already, it's not that cool.

Just add it to the list of things done by pop culture figures of some kind that are eventually appropriated by mainstream culture until they're not cool anymore. Move along.

Imagine what would happen if Ted Cruz were to start making regular appearances wearing sagging pants and a hat worn off to the side.

Haha, being that my brother and dad are in the music bus, this was funny.

"In the world I see you are stalking elk through the damp canyon forests around the ruins of Rockefeller Center. You'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life. You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Towers. And when you look down, you'll see tiny figures pounding corn, laying stripes of venison on the empty car pool lane of some abandoned superhighway." T Durden
