Ok, in the spirit of if you could view 1 event in history..
How about If you could go back and do 1 (ONE) thing in the past? Some rules. You have a reset button, so you can undue the change and return to today, if the results are not what you expected. When you return to the modified present you remember this present also.
My life has a lot more up than down so without the reset I would not do anything. With it I have a few experiments I would love to try.
1) Go back oh maybe several 100 thousand years, and dig a 1 meter cubed hole. Then return to the present and see whats changed.
2) Go back several thousand years and stop 1 random person from being concieved. Again return and see how different the world really is.
3) Stop Columbus from getting his funding for his new route.
4) Go back to July and convince myself to do the local sprint tri, instead of wimping out and having that hang on me all winter.
