texas has such a ridiculous system, judges are actually members of parties and elected by the hoi polloi like a congressman or senator

Aren't judges elected in each state? I've voted for judges before here in IL.

people here are talking about this judge like he's some wacky liberal. there are no wacky liberals in elected positions in texas. it's impossible.
