Ok, so we can all give money (yet, I tend to think that it gets filtered down before it gets to anybody who really needs it) so has anyone been working on getting donated supplies trucked/shipped down to NO.

I live and work in New Jersey and I could probably get an 18 wheelers worth of supplies donated in about three hours. Can anyone donate the truck/time/driver etc. etc.?

If we get it on the road is there a staging area that we can get it too (northern Alabama, Montgomery, etc.) that can get it further into the Gulf Coast. Google Maps has it as 21 hr. ride from Northern NJ to Montgomey Alabama. Leave tomorrow night...home by Monday...

Where is the National Guard offloading stuff? A military base?
