....until I got tapped for a quick-fill billet on another ship. Coulda been sweating my ass off in the middle of the action instead of sweating my ass off in VA Beach.

One of my close friends (and talented triathlete) Brandon Secrest is on the Ashland...just got back from Military Worlds and is now making the news of a different kind. Definately brings the story closer to home...

Gator Navy, bay-bee! Flat-bottom and the only way to sail! :-) Hell, you get the best of both worlds.....Squids and Jarheads, both riding along on the same "haze-gray-and-underway" amphib.
