I'm looking to get a new laptop but I'm affraid of software compatability issues with PowerBooks. I'm an econ grad student so the primary functions of the computer would be business application work. I know apple has the MS Office software but it doesn't include Access. I would also need it to be able to run forecasting and other software such as SAS.
Does anyone have any experience with using Apples primarily for business? I like the Apples in just about every way more than PCs but wouldn't want to be stuck with a computer that I can't do everything I need to do, which makes me think a PC might be the best route to go.
