Our 9 year old friend is a very strong athlete and can actually say her abilities have outgrown her bike. It's time for a road bike! Does anyone have a bike that would fit a 9 year old girl (I think she is about 4' 6" right now)?

I just purchased a redline conquest 24 on Craigslist from Portland Oregon. My suggestion is to watch Craigslist in the Bend and Portland Oregon as that is where I have found most of the cross bikes, which can double as a road bike. Prices ranged from $225-$450 plus shipping. Good luck hunting.
