Do you already have a race wheel? perhaps opening up to any wired powertap wheel and/or hub - might give you some options...
I.e. buy an old wired PT 24 hole training wheel and have the hub rebuilt into a race wheel...

Yes already thought of that, but it ain't gonna help me with a Tri Spoke as my race hoop.
so then you sell that wheel and pick up a cheap 404
