I am contemplating a new mtn bike so I am putting my current bike out for a feeler.
Size small Santa Cruz Superlight 5.5 years old.
Thomson Elite Post
San Marco ERA saddle
Shimano XT front der, crankset, and bottom bracket (octalink), M-555 hydraulic disck brakes, XT 32 hole center-lock hubs on Sun XC-2 rims with Michelin Dry +2 tires (set up for standard tubes).
SRAM X9 rear der., XO grip shift, 990 11-34 cassette, and chain
Ritchey Pro 100mm stem 25.8 with Easton Monkeylite SL low rise bars (bars had about an inch taken off when I first got them).
Fork is a Rock Shox Sid Race and rear shock is Float R.
Gore cables
This bike rides really nice and has plenty of life left, but does show signs of use....scrapes, nicks, rub marks, etc. Chain and cassette are only 1 year old. I rode it an average of about 25 times a year and would guess total miles to be around 3,000. I will ship to the lower 48 only. I rake extremely good care of my bicycles so this thing has plenty of miles still to go. Let me know if you have any questions.
Contemplating a multi-sport comeback
