FS: Merlin Aerial / Quintana Aerial Titanium Tri Bike 650c size 55 Price Drop
Quote | Reply
This bike was a collaborative effort between Dan Empfield (founder of slowtwitch and quintana roo) and Merlin, a renowned Titanium bike builder. It is a 650c bike which allows for extremely low, aggressive positions if desired. The titanium tubes are smaller than typical aluminum bikes for improved aerodynamics, and the quintanaroo "CarbonAero" fork is still one of the best on the market.

This bike was the overall winner of the 2009 Take a Hike Ike Duathlon, the 2009 Enchanted Rock Duathlon, and has even won a couple of criteriums this year.

This is a true triathlon geometry bike,78 degree STA, set up with drop bars making it a good first timer bike for people getting used to the position.

Specs:
650c Titanium Size 55 frame (seat tube length 55cm)
Shimano 105 9 speed shifters
Shimano 105 brakes
Dura ace derailleurs
Dura Ace 170mm crankset with 54T dura ace aero chainring
Super light carbon fiber seatpost will be included (not pictured)
Pedals NOT included

Choice of: Zipp404s with wheelcover or no wheels at all

Will throw in spare tires and tubes for any buyer.

With zipps: $1350
Without wheels: $425
If you can pick up in austin we can discount a bit.

What year is the bike? How tall are you (or whoever rode this bike)? Thanks

The rider of the bike was 5'10", but it was a bit small for her.

It is a 2002
