Wanted: SPD mountain pedals with platform on one side
Quote | Reply
I currently have Shimano spd mountain pedals on my commuter bike, but would like to replace them with pedals that have the spd mountain clipless on one side, and the flat platform on the other, for riding with tennis shoes.

Shimano brand preferred...(I've heard there are problems with the Performance and Nashbar brands of these pedals).

Thanks!

For what it's worth, I've been using the Performance brand (Forte campus pedal) for about 3 months without issue mostly. When I ride with my SPDs the clearance is a bit low and I caught my pedal while pedalling through a turn (on a fixie, so I had no option to coast and lean through it) and nearly bit it, but mechanically they seem perfectly reliable.
