I pre-ordered the Windows 7 Home Premium edition upgrade from Amazon.com this summer. When I received the software on the release date and tried to upgrade my OS, I couldn't because I had Vista Business edition OS. So, this software was never installed and I can't return it to Amazon because I opened it. $55 shipped via PayPal.

The upgrade software comes with two discs: 32-bit and 64-bit. Not sure if this answers your question, but I'm not too tech savvy re: OS :(
