That's fine. I just don't usually see Princeton/Reserve and "save a few bucks" in the same sentence. LOL.
I would buy Reserve, as I would Parcours, as I would HED as I would SwissSide.
I also have my I wouldn't buy list but buy/not buy is 100% based on performance characteristics. And I'm cheap :-)
What's on your do not buy list?
Do you have any data on princeton's?
I have 0 data on Princeton. I am in the market for wheels
What I do/did :
Draw a chart
Along the X axis put a "score", say 1 to 10
Along the Y axis put price, say 0 to 6k
For the score, take a wheel and start with a 5
If a good hub, add 1, bad hub subtract 1
Good crash policy add 1. Good warranty add 1
Good technical papers and data add 2 (example Parcours). Bullsit numbers, subtract 1. I do believe there is not a huge difference in performance across different wheels. I do take data I find with a grain of salt, but I do consider it.

I weigh data I have a littel heavier (HED, Vision,...)
5bar max, subtract 2
Light, add 1, heavy subtract 1.
They "look fast"/influence by WT teams (Princeton) add 1
Come up with your own criteria. Some wouldn't subtract for hookless. I do.
If you are like me, look at bottom right quadrant candidates
Reject top left candidates. Based on my way of selecting you can guess what I would not buy
