I used the DMT KR4's for over a season and liked them but wasn't a huge fan of the plastic sole and flex. As minimal as it was just wasn't a fan like carbon crank arms. There's no way I could have got them on in a flying mount though... I kicked one of the boxes holding the bikes in T1 at Kona 2019 and the dial boa dial flew off. The shoe wasn't quite as firm as I'd like but was fine for the ride. I have gone to the KRSL with elastic laces and really enjoying them. Overall though both were great shoes and the KR3 is a great value shoe.
