We discussed this at the top of the post. Actually when this was posted the campy version was $1199, they have SINCE dropped the Campy version below the Shimano so that is the price for Campy which I assume most people don't want in the first place.
The price is both $949 on CompetiveC and SteepAndCheap for the Sram/Shimano version. They are both owned by the same company, BackCountry. CC has lower shipping price and better return policy.
