Same issue here and this is how I have done:

Attached a piece of plastic to the inner gap of the cap lock.

Tools required:

The piece of plastic is from the inner tube protection pad/rim protector.



Not bad! it never bounces off now.

(BTW, I really hope that the lock mechanism for the speedbox cap could be a bit more sophisticated.)
