I had one other question- moving the nipples. I have heard some people having this done so the placement on the breast looks more natural after gravity begins to take effect. Any experiences with this? I heard a couple of things through the grapevine- loss of sensation, etc. Is this a normal part of the procedure or is it optional?

My nipples were raised as part of my breast reduction about 10 years ago. After losing around 40 lbs, my sad sacks were at risk of hitting me in the face and I didn't like tucking them into my belt line while running!

Immediately post-surgery, there was numbness. I am happy to report that everything has been back to normal for years.
