I'm selling these for a friend who thought she'd get into tris big time and then lost the bug.
They're Lew wheels with White Industries LTA hubs and 16/20 DT spokes. We weighed them and they came in at around 1269g a set (f- 503g / r- 766g). Lew Wheels were bought by McClain Composites/Reynolds and then slightly modified and sold this wheel as the Reynolds DV UL . As of about three years ago the Reynolds now use DT hubs. The DV UL wheels msrp is $2,300.
They have a titanium Campy cassette body, however I've been told that like with many other wheels that you can get the Shimano freehub body and swap it out.
They're in excellent shape, not surprising since they were barely used... hubs spin free, wheels are true, no scratches or nicks in the carbon, and have some left over tubular glue on the area where the tires are mounted.
Other sets have sold here for around $450-$550, and some people have been asking as much as $1,100 (but not selling ;-) so I think her netting $450 should be a fair price. Paypal is preferred, and they will probably be shipped via FedEx and insured.
Several years ago I had some Lews that were built up barely over 1,000g and I can attest to the fact that they are incredibly light and strong wheels.
