Last week ended up as an unplanned down week. Wasn’t planning to run much anyway and after having drinks with some friends on Wed (including alcohol which is pretty rare for me) I took Thu off training. Ended up with: 7k swim, 5hrs bike, 14k run; and did half my S&C schedule. And that’s ok.
For now, all talk of marathon training is postponed. I’m not even doing triathlete amounts of running. And that’s ok too (one only has to have followed along with DrT’s travails for a while to realise there is much to be grateful for). So this week will look more like a triathlon plan, albeit with a cautious running load. Oh, and achilles rehab; did I mention I have to do achilles rehab?
