Weekly Accountability Thread: Dec. 2 Edition

Last week was Week5 of marathon training programme. Those who have been following along know there’s not been much progress with running. It was a build-back week after the achilles issue - managed 31k of mostly easy running … and achilles felt good … until Sunday and today when I could feel it a little again. Otherwise, got my strength work done, 6k of swim and 4+hrs bike.

Week6 this week but I think I’ll put the run programme aside again and do more swim and bike. Strength work and achilles rehab is the priority. Hopefully a little bit of easy running too. Feeling a bit frustrated but grateful that triathlon gives us all the different things to do to stay fit and healthy.
